About the Department

Through the completion of a degree within the Department of Nursing at Dickinson State University, you will have attained the education necessary to make a significant impact upon the state of North Dakota and the surrounding region, improving both the health and quality of life of its citizens. Our goal is to foster students’ development into knowledgeable healthcare professionals who are adequately prepared to serve in a continually-evolving healthcare environment.

Online RN TO BSN Completion Program

The Department of Nursing is now offering an online RN TO BSN Completion Program. The program, delivered entirely online,  is only available to nurses who have previously completed an Associate Degree Registered Nurse (ADRN) or Associate Degree Nurse (ADN) program and are currently licensed as Registered Nurses (RNs). RNs who are interested in obtaining a BSN degree will find that this online method of delivery allows for increased accessibility and flexibility, building upon their prior nursing knowledge and experience.
