The Biesiot Activities Center Experience
Keeping in mind the needs of the Dickinson community and the Southwest region of North Dakota, the $16 million Biesiot Activities Center was constructed to accommodate three home teams: Dickinson State University, Dickinson High School, and Dickinson Trinity High School. The Biesiot Activities Center offers over 5,000 square feet of indoor multi-purpose space and outdoor space to host DSU, community, and regional events.
Championship Athlete Experience
The Biesiot Activities Center’s new Fisher Field features the latest in artificial turf to provide student-athletes with the best and safest field design, allowing the BAC to host more local and regional sporting events throughout the year. A new, state-of-the-art, Olympic- sized, eight-lane track is the hallmark of the new Roger Huffman Track, which also boasts the latest in track and field meet management, results, and electronic scoring.The Biesiot Activities Center also features an on-site locker room facility located on the bottom level of the facility that includes separate locker rooms for each of the three home teams. Additionally, the facility has a training room and coaches office to allow for the best experience possible for our student-athletes.
A Championship Fan Experience
The Biesiot Activities Center creates an exhilarating experience for students, families, fans, and spectators from every corner of the state and across the nation. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available to meet the needs of all spectators and fans. Seating options include: suites, club seats, and general admission bench seating. The facility also boasts elevator service, premium concessions, outdoor patio areas, and a 5,000 square foot indoor Lowman-Walton Concourse; which is equipped with nine flat-screen TV’s to enhance the fan experience and to ensure they catch all of the exciting action- all of the time.
A Championship Community Experience
A featured attraction of the Biesiot Activities Center is the 5,000 square foot indoor multi-purpose space that allows for year-round usage. This space provides the community with many opportunities to host public and private events and to promote the region. Usage of the indoor multi-purpose space area has included: car shows, family reunions, meetings, exhibitions, trade shows, weddings, fundraisers, and many other special events.
In addition to football, track and field, and other athletic contests, the BAC offers a variety of outdoor space for concerts, marching band competitions, vehicle sales, expanded programming for the Dickinson Public and Dickinson Catholic School Districts, and Dickinson Parks and Recreation. Additionally, Fisher Field and the Roger Huffman Track is a great place for walking, running, and exercise enthusiasts. Fisher Field and the Roger Huffman Track is open daily for the public to use.
