Fredrick Agbaje didn't just win the men's 100 meters Friday afternoon at the Biesiot Activities Center. The speedy sophomore from Nigeria raced his way into history.

Dickinson State University announced this afternoon during a press conference at the Biesiot Activities Center that the institution has accepted an invitation to become a member of the newly formed North Star Athletic Association (NSAA).

On Monday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) approved the formation of a new athletic conference which will be named the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA).The new conference is comprised of five universities in the Upper Midwest.

Though the Blue Hawk Games weren't at the Biesiot Activities Center, the Dickinson State men's and women's track and field had been waiting in anticipation to compete for the third time during the outdoor season.

Thursday night was first and only time the Dickinson State men's track and field practiced its handoffs in the 400-meter relay.

The outdoor track and field season for the Biesiot Activities Center at Dickinson State University is scheduled to begin today.

Club seating at the Biesiot Activities Center is now on sale and available for the 2013-2015 regular football seasons.

Dickinson State University will host a final "Outdoor Movie Night" Monday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. at the Badlands Activities Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the DSU Campus Activities Board

The Dickinson State University Alumni and Foundation is still taking reservations for pregame tailgate spots for upcoming 2012 DSU home football games.

The second annual 9-Man High School Football Jamboree will take place Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Badlands Activities Center, located at 398 State Ave., Dickinson, N.D. The jamboree consists of four varsity high school football games from teams throughout central, northwest and southwest regions of North Dakota.
