Mu Phi Epsilon
Founded in 1903, Mu Phi Epsilon is an international fraternity in the professional field. Its purposes are the recognition of scholarship and musicianship and the promotion of friendship within its membership. Its aims are the advancement of music in America and throughout the world; the promotion of musicianship and scholarship and of loyalty to the Alma Mater; and the development of true and lasting musical fellowship.
Music Educators' National Conference (M.E.N.C)
The purpose of this collegiate membership is to afford students an opportunity for professional orientation and development while still in school. Benefits accrue to students and to the professional organization as the students gain an understanding of the philosophy and function of the music education profession.
Nursing Students Association
Nursing Students Association is a campus-based pre-professional organization that prepares members for involvement in professional associations such as the American Nurses' Association and National League for Nursing. Membership is open to all individuals enrolled in or planning to enter the Dickinson State nursing programs.

Omicron-Psi is a national honor society established to recognize those non-traditional students who have maintained a high grade point average, are involved with community and campus activities, and demonstrate leadership qualities while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Phi Eta Sigma
Phi Eta Sigma is the nation's oldest freshman honor society. To be inducted, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade point average and have completed one semester at Dickinson State.
Pi Kappa Delta
Pi Kappa Delta is a national honorary speech fraternity. Membership in the fraternity is lifelong and is offered to honor all students involved in forensic competition. Dickinson State’s membership in this organization creates an additional opportunity for national competition.
Pi Lambda Theta
Pi Lambda Theta is an honor and professional association in education. Its mission is to provide leadership for the profession, to promote academic excellence at all educational levels, to provide leadership development for members, to foster an environment for professional educators.
Sigma Beta Delta
It is an honor society for business administration, business education, and accounting students. The principles of the Society include wisdom, honor, and the pursuit of meaningful aspirations.
Sigma Tau Delta
An honor society designed to promote the profession of English studies. New members are inducted into this organization each spring semester.
Student Education Association
The Student Education Association (S.E.A.) is an affiliate of the North Dakota Education Association having the express purpose of involving prospective teachers in a professional organization within the teacher education program.
