About Leadership Studies Curriculum

About Leadership Studies Curriculum

TR Scholars study the qualities and practices of effective leaders and what it takes to be a leader in today's ever-changing world.  In pursuit of their Leadership Studies Minor, students take honors sections of general education courses, courses on the topic of leadership, and upper-division elective.  This education takes place in a learning community comprised of 80 TR Scholars from across the United States and the globe.

The TR Program experience includes, at no cost to the student, a wide array of special learning opportunities like a professional development seminar, leadership satellite seminars, invited authors and speakers, national and regional honors conferences, enhanced internships, and study tours. There are also opportunities for students to engage in study or service abroad. Those who take full advantage of the TR Program distinguish themselves through their additional studies and equip themselves for excellence in graduate school or any vocation.
