Q:  What is Facility Operations responsible for?
A:  The maintenance, repair and up keep of all buildings and grounds, office relocation, delivering of freight, snow removal, custodial services, state fleet car reservations, issue keys for all university property and building signage.
 
Q:  What is an emergency repair?
A: Emergency repairs pose an immediate risk to health, property or environment and required an immediate response.  Such items could be a pipe that ruptured, plugged toilet that is over flowing, a person stuck in an elevator, lock problems such as keys sticking in locks, or locks that turn with difficulty.  These calls are also handled by Facility Operations Department @ 483-2148. 
 
Q:  What is the Heat Plant responsible for?
A: The maintenance, repair, and up keep of all heating, cooling and high voltage systems of university property and water issues. 
 
Q:  How do you request other types of work or services?
A:  All requests for work and services are to be submitted to Facility Operations through a Work Order Request Form. 
 
Q:  What is a "Work Order Request" form?
A:  This is the form used to track what is requested (scope of work), location of work, justification of requested work.
 
Q:  What is a "Key Request" form?
A:  This is the form used to track what is requested, location of where the key is needed, justification of who the key is needed for. 
 
Q:  What is the "Faculty/Staff Vehicle Request" form used for?
A:  To be used by Faculty and Staff when requesting a vehicle for university sponsored business to include student accompanying the advisor/supervisor. Must present a valid drivers license.
 
Q:  What is the "Student Vehicle Request" form used for?
A:  To be used by Students requesting a vehicle for university sponsored business when not being accompanied by the advisor/supervisor.  Must have be a student with a valid drivers license.
 
Q:  How do I reserve a room?
A:  To reserve a space on campus, contact the Coordinator of Special Events & Scheduling @ 483-2128, for availability space.
 
Q:  What do faculty/staff/students need to do if they have a slip, trip or fall or any other type of accident happens while on university property?
A:  Contact the Office Manager of Facility Operations to fill out an Incident Rerport @ 483-2148.
