General Advising Information

Degree Completion Plans

“Degree Completion Plans” are what the advisors use to help students develop an extended plan for completing a degree program. By using these plans students are able to chart out how many years of planned attendance at college and determine which classes should be taken during each semester of their time at Dickinson State University.

Course Rotations

“Course Rotations” – the term departments use for notice of which courses are available what semester. Some courses are not available each semester, or each academic year, so the rotation points out what semesters these courses are offered to ensure pre-requisites or co-requisites are met.

Student Instructions for Advisement Report

The advisement report gives students the ability to track remaining requirements for graduation. Through the student advisement report in Campus Connection, students can access their GPA, progress on general education requirements, status on transfer credits, and more.

DSU Teacher Education Timeline

The Teacher Education timeline contains the dates of various deadlines in the program through the academic year. This Excel document has a tab that is student-specific and one that is faculty-specific.
