Something you may not know about DSU?
Dickinson State Normal School began in 1918 and had no buildings, so the first classes were held at Dickinson High School!
DSU is a great place to earn your degree!
Dickinson State University offers bachelor’s degrees in more than 75 fields of study! Plus, DSU offers master’s and associate degrees and certificates, too!
My advice to anyone applying for college!
Getting an education is an investment in yourself and your future!

Here's something you may not know about DSU.
DSU’s campus is also home to many outdoor rec areas, including the DSU Outdoor Track and Field Complex, the DSU Softball Complex, and the DSU Tennis Courts.
This is a great place to study, work, and play.
I traveled over 1,500 miles to be here in Dickinson, and I could not be happier. The people are great, and I enjoy coming to campus every day!
My advice to anyone who's applying.
Come visit campus, and meet with our students. You won't find anyone more passionate about our school and their programs!

Why I chose Dickinson State University
I chose Dickinson State University because it felt like home and their business programs fit what I had been looking for.
This is a great place to work, study or play.
Dickinson State University provides numerous activities for students including sporting events and game nights, the community also has activities year-round.

Always be sure to include your extracurricular activities and accomplishments, as well as anything that makes yourself stand out from the crowd!

Why did I choose DSU
I chose DSU because I was interested in the successful athletic programs as well as the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program.
This is a great place to live and study
DSU offers many different styles of housing depending on your wants and needs. There are five dorm buildings at DSU that offer unique options for you.
My advice for anyone considering DSU
Come for a visit! See for yourself what DSU and the community of Dickinson has to offer. There are always events taking place on and off campus!

Something you didn't know about DSU?
DSU is very involved with the surrounding community. There is always something to do whether on campus or an event in the community.
This is a great place to earn a degree!
DSU has a 1/13 professor to student ratio which means you will be able to make personal connections with your professors. They are invested in your education.
My advice to anyone who's applying.
Come visit us! There is only so much you can learn on the website, come and see how you like the atmosphere. You'll get to meet other students and faculty.

DSU offers a very affordable education with several easily applied scholarships such as the TRHLP, with motivating people who will help in career preparation.

Come and visit campus! Meeting professors and other students can help reduce some anxiety about college.
Things to know about DSU.
DSU is a 13/1 ratio for student to faculty, so you will get the help needed! We also have several new programs like diesel tech, welding, fire science and more!
