Jacinta Skretteberg began teaching nursing at Dickinson State University (DSU) in
February 2011. Previously she was employed at St. Luke’s Nursing Home as a Staff
Development Nurse and continues to work on call as a charge nurse. Prior nursing experience
includes a Long Term Care, Telemetry and Intensive Care.
Jacinta currently teaches (face to face): Intermediate Nursing Concepts I, Intermediate
Nursing Clinical Concepts I, Intermediate Nursing Concepts II, Intermediate Nursing
Clinical Concepts II, Introduction to Pharmacology and Simulation. The clinical rotation
is in Long Term Care. She also teaches Nursing 398B Clinical Concepts I for the online
ADRN to BSN program.
Jacinta’s roles in the department include: AASPN Second Year Coordinator, Evaluation
Committee, AASPN Committee, ADRN to BSN Committee and Chair of Recruitment. University
wide committee includes faculty membership to Curriculum Council.
