Les Wietstock accepted the role of Chief Operating Officer for DSU in September 2022.
Prior to starting at DSU, Wietstock worked 7 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North
Dakota as the Director of Provider Reimbursement and also spent a number of years
as a CEO, CFO and other positions in rural health care, starting out at Community
Memorial Hospital in Hettinger, ND and Five Counties Hospital and Nursing Home in
Lemmon, SD. Wietstock received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and
Finance from the University of North Dakota; a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from
Dickinson State University; and a Master of Science Degree from Central Michigan University,
with an emphasis in Human Resource Management.
Wietstock currently resides in Dickinson along with his wife, Cyrisse and their dog,
Zeus. Other members of his family include a stepdaughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren
that live in West Fargo, ND.
