Transfer GPAs are considered for students with 24 or more earned credits. High school GPAs are used for all other new students. All GPA levels are set by the first day of classes each semester. If final documents are received after this day, the level of scholarship awarded will not change.

Students are locked in at their level of scholarship once they are a DSU student; they will not be able to move between scholarship levels. Phi Theta Kappa members who graduate with associate degrees are automatically eligible for the corresponding award level. This waiver can be combined with the DSU Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Scholarship and may also be combined with other forms of institutional waivers and DSU Heritage Foundation Scholarships

We award athletic scholarships to student-athletes on a case-by-case basis. To apply, fill out a recruitment form for each sport at our DSU Blue Hawks website.

The High School “High Fliers” Scholarship is available to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The scholarship waives part of your tuition, so you don’t pay more than the funded dual credit tuition rate for early entry courses taken via DSUlive™ or online. You must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and show this by submitting an official in-progress high school transcript. The “High Fliers” Scholarship is renewable as long as you keep a minimum 3.0 GPA in DSU coursework and remain a high school student. When you graduate from high school or earn your GED, you can apply for other DSU scholarship and/or award programs to receive aid.

These scholarships are available to you if you are majoring, minoring, or participating in the following areas: art, communication, or English. The recipient of this award is expected to assist in recruitment and promotion of the department. To be eligible, you must be accepted to DSU and be enrolled full time (at least 12 hours per semester). You must also maintain good academic and financial standing.
