Hyunjoo Hill joined Dickinson State University as an adjunct faculty member in 2018
and became an assistant professor in 2022. She teaches economics, marketing, management
and leadership, and organizational behavior. She serves on faculty committees and
represents DSU in economics on the North Dakota University System Academic Discipline
Group.
Hill earned an MBA from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in organizational
behavior and strategic human resource management. She is pursuing a PhD in Business
Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her research examines
leadership communication, employee thriving and innovation, organizational culture,
strategic management, international business, and artificial intelligence regulation.
Her research on AI regulation was published in the IEEE journal Computer in June 2026. Before entering academia, Hill worked internationally in human resources,
foreign exchange, financial analysis, consulting, and organizational leadership.
