George Seror III serves as Associate Professor of Psychology in the School of Professional
Studies at Dickinson State University.
Dr. Seror also directs the Perception and Cognition Lab at Dickinson State, where
he supervises undergraduate research. His current work focuses on the perception of
consonance in music, and the modulation of attention via auditory entrainment. Previous
research areas include visual attention, memory, and learning
Current courses include a two-semester sequence in research methods and statistics,
introduction to psychology, history and systems of psychology, learning and memory,
sensation and perception, lifespan development, and theories of personality.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Seror continues to perform regularly as a solo
classical guitarist and chamber musician.
