Alexandrea Schwab, CPA

Senior Manager, BradyMartz

Originally from Prosser, Washington, Alexandrea (Alex) Schwab moved to Dickinson, North Dakota, to attend college and has been there ever since. She loves the amazing support system that has developed in the community. Alex graduated with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting.

Alex spent four years working in private accounting before joining the Brady Martz team in 2016. Today, she serves as a senior manager for the firm and as the Director of Client Advisory Services in the Brady Martz Strategic Business Services (SBS) department. She spends most of her time troubleshooting different businesses’ new and existing technologies and figuring out how to get them to work together in the most efficient way. She also oversees and implements the outsourced controller and advisory services that the firm provides. In 2018 she was included on the Dickinson Press “30 Under 30” list and in 2019 she was named the Dickinson Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year. In 2024, Alex was recognized by Prairie Business in their "40 Under 40" list.

A tenacious and helpful professional, Alex always seeks to be present, bold, and kind. Her willingness to try new things and ask questions is one of the keys to her career success. Alex was inspired to pursue a career in the accounting field by the balancing aspects of debits and credits, which very much appealed to her.

Alex and her husband, Mike, have two daughters. Alex’s hobbies include kayaking, snowshoeing, running, knitting, and hanging out with her chicken flock.

Jason Rodakowski

Partner, Hoerner Rodakowski PC

Jason Rodakowski graduated from Dickinson State University in 2003 with a double major in Business Administration and Accounting. He is married to Angela Rodakowski (née Simnioniw), who also graduated from DSU with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2003. Together, Jason and Angela have three children and one grandchild. Their daughter, Haley, is married to Kooper Ray, also a DSU graduate, who graduated with a BSN from DSU in 2022. Haley and Kooper have one child, Oaklen Ray. Aidon Rodakowski is currently attending North Dakota State University, and Taya Rodakowski is a senior at Dickinson High School.

Professionally, Jason passed his CPA exam in 2005 and works as a partner at Hoerner Rodakowski PC in Dickinson. He is also a part-owner of two bars in Dickinson: Spur Bar, which he has owned since 2013, and Neighbors Bar & Golf, which he has owned since 2016.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Jason serves on the Dickinson Public School Board.

Sarah Haich

Chief Financial Officer, Consolidated Telecom

Sarah Haich is the Chief Financial Officer at Consolidated in Dickinson and has been with the company for nearly eighteen years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Dickinson State University and an MBA from the University of Mary.

 

With twenty-three years of experience in finance, Sarah has a comprehensive understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. She uses this expertise to ensure that Consolidated makes informed decisions that guide the company toward long-term growth and stability. She is deeply motivated by leading with authenticity and accountability, with a desire to create a work environment where people can thrive personally and professionally.

 

Sarah lives in Dickinson with her husband, CJ. Their two children, Aiden and Adria, currently attend North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. She is in her seventh year as the Trinity Mardi Gras Finance Manager and was an active member of the Dickinson Baseball Club from 2018 to 2022.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, spending time with her family, following local sports, and enjoying time on a pontoon boat on Lake Sakakawea.

Jason Hopfauf

Market president, Dakota Community Bank & Trust

Jason Hopfauf graduated from Dawson County High School in Glendive, Montana. He continued his education at Dickinson State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management in 1993.

Jason and his wife, Darcy (Forster) Hopfauf, a 1994 graduate of Dickinson State University, have been happily married for 31 years. They have raised three wonderful children and have two young grandsons.

Their oldest son, Tanner, graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He is currently the General Manager for Iron Works, Inc. Tanner and his wife, Kristi, live in Dickinson, North Dakota, and they have two sons. Their middle son, Treven, graduated with a degree in accounting from Dickinson State University. He obtained his CPA and is now the Controller for AquaTraction Inc. Treven and his wife, Jensen, reside in Bismarck, North Dakota. Their daughter, Taya, is a senior studying Speech Pathology at the University of North Dakota and competes on the UND Softball Team.

For the past 28 years, Jason has served as the Market President of two of the 12 Dakota Community Bank & Trust locations. He has been involved in all aspects of lending and Management of the bank.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys coaching and attending his children's various sporting activities across the country. He also likes hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing pickleball.

Les Olson

CEO, Plains Ag LLC

Les Olson grew up on a farm and ranch near Max, ND. After high school he began working at the local CASE IH implement dealership in Garrison, ND as a technician and mechanic. Over the years, he has held the positions of salesman, store manager, and since 1999, owner/CEO. Today, Plains Ag is comprised of 17 CASE IH dealerships in North Dakota, Montana, Colorado, and Kansas.

Les is a Past President of the CASE IH Roughrider Association, Past Chairman of the North Dakota Implement Dealers Association, and is on his second term with the North American CASE IH Dealer Advisory Board.

In his spare time, Les enjoys reading, working with his cows, and spending time with family; especially his three grandchildren.

Nic Stevenson

Co-Owner, Stevenson Funeral Home

Nic Stevenson grew up in Baker, Montana, where his parents owned and operated Stevenson Funeral Home.  After attending Montana State University and Mt. Hood College of Mortuary Science, Nic and his wife, Terri, moved to Dickinson in 2005.  Together with their five children: Sadie, Nate, Ali, Patrick, and Delaney, they have settled into the Dickinson Community. Nic works in a third-generation family business, Stevenson Funeral Home, while Terri owns and operates a gym and personal training business.

Nic has served on several boards throughout the Dickinson community and currently serves on the Dickinson Park Board.  In his free time, Nic enjoys cheering on the Blue Hawks, Mavricks, Bobcats, and Chiefs.
