Sarah Griffis came to DSU in 2019 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English
in the Spring of 2023. Sarah was a distance runner for the Blue Hawk Cross Country
and Track and Field team and a member of the Theodore Roosevelt Leadership Program
(TRHLP), while balancing her studies and several other extracurricular activities.
Sarah began working for DSU as an Admissions Counselor while earning a Digital Communications
certificate before transferring into her current role as the Stoxen Library Services
Technician in May of 2024. Beginning in June of 2025, Sarah started working at the
DSU Heritage Foundation as a Content Writer in addition to her role in the library.
Sarah has presented research on the relationship between former U.S. President Theodore
Roosevelt and the nineteenth-century poet Edwin Arlington Robinson at the 2022 Northern
Great Plains History Conference and again in the summer of 2023 for the Theodore Roosevelt
Association. Sarah is currently enrolled in an online Master's in Library and Information
Science (MLIS) program.
