Dickinson State University (DSU) students Isaiah Kludt and Alexa Delbridge were crowned 2022 Homecoming King and Queen during coronation at halftime of Saturday’s home football game.

Isaiah Kludt is originally from Hettinger, North Dakota, and was nominated by the DSU Heritage Foundation (DSUHF). Kludt is currently majoring in biology and is an integral part of the DSU football team. Kludt also spends his time as a student worker in the DSUHF office. He is the son of John and Shannon Kludt.

“Isaiah represents what DSU truly stands for,” stated DSUHF’s executive director Ty Orton. “He understands how to balance being a student-athlete and excels in both areas. He is a kind-hearted person who is always willing to assist others and is a true asset to DSU and the community.”

Alexa Delbridge is originally from Black Hawk, South Dakota, and was nominated by the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program (TRHLP). Delbridge is currently majoring in nursing and has been an active member of TRHLP and the Nursing Student Association (NSA). She is the daughter of Arlin and Kathy Delbridge.

“As a nursing student, TR scholar, and student assistant director of TRHLP, Alexa goes above and beyond in everything she does,” stated TRHLP’s office manager Mari Kovash. “She is an excellent ambassador for DSU and the Dickinson community and very deserving of this honor.”

Congratulations Isaiah and Alexa!
