Dickinson State University will host the formal investiture of President Scott Molander at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in Dorothy Stickney Auditorium in May Hall. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. The ceremony will celebrate and formally recognize Molander as the 14th president of the university.
The investiture marks a significant moment in the history of DSU and provides an opportunity for the campus community, alumni, and regional partners to come together in celebration.
“President Molander’s leadership has already begun to inspire students, faculty, and staff alike,” said Holly Gruhlke, vice president for academic affairs and provost. “His vision for Dickinson State University centers on academic excellence, community partnership, workforce innovation, and student success. We are proud to celebrate this next chapter of DSU’s story.”
Molander expressed gratitude for the honor and shared his excitement for the future of the institution.
“I am humbled to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading Dickinson State University,” Molander said. “DSU is a place where students are empowered to dream, achieve and thrive. This investiture is not just about me; it is about the entire Blue Hawk community and the promising future we will continue to build together.”
The event is open to the public, and members of the Dickinson and surrounding communities are invited to attend.
