Northern Plains Music Festival

Dickinson State University's music program will host the 69th Annual Northern Plains Music Festival November 13-14 2026. This festival features musicians from more than 25 different high schools in North Dakota, Montana, and South Dakota. The Northern Plains Music Festival consists of two musical groups: Mixed Choir and Concert Band. A Women's Choir may be added, depending on interest.

Fee - $25 per student.  Checks can be made out to DSU Music.  Invoices will be sent out following the posting of the performing groups final personnel list 

Concert Attire - Concert Black formal attire

Optional campus activities following Friday's rehearsal  will be provided.

Northern Plains Grand Concert - Saturday, Nov. 14 at 4 pm.  Tickets $5 at the door.
