The National Business Education Association (NBEA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lori Hauf as the new National President, effective July 1, 2024. This leadership transition marks a significant milestone for the organization, as Hauf brings a wealth of experience and a passion for advancing business education.

With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Lori Hauf has been a pivotal figure in the business education community. Her innovative approach and commitment to excellence have earned her numerous accolades and the respect of her peers. As National President, Dr. Hauf is set to spearhead new programs and collaborations that will further empower educators and students alike.

Hauf is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Council for Business, Teaching, and Research (CBTR), the Association for Business Teacher Research (ABTR), and the National Association for Business Teacher Education (NABTE). Within the NBEA, she has held numerous leadership roles, including President-Elect (2023-present) and Secretary/Treasurer (2020-2023). She has also served on the CBTR Executive Board, the Technology Committee, and the National Award Committee, among others. Her dedication to business education is evident through her awards, such as the 2021 Council of Business Teaching and Research Doctoral Dissertation Award and the 2018 Innovative Teacher of the Year award from Dickinson State University.
