Dickinson State University (DSU) continues to provide students with valuable learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Students in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SoBE) are encouraged to participate in co-curricular opportunities such as Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate, helping them grow their professional skills and leadership potential.

This past weekend, two DSU students, Samantha Harris and X'Avier Vincent, along with faculty advisor Amy Kass, attended the 2025 FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas. The annual event brings together top-performing students from across the country to compete in various business-related events and attend leadership workshops.

X'Avier Vincent earned top ten national placements in two competitive categories, placing 9th in International Business and 6th in Organizational Behavior & Leadership.

“I am very proud of Samantha and X'Avier for taking the time out of their busy summers to participate in the FBLA NLC,” said Amy Kass, FBLA faculty advisor. “They displayed professionalism throughout the conference, and I was thrilled to learn that X'Avier earned top ten placements in both of his events! That is not easy to do, so I am very proud.”

DSU congratulates Samantha and X'Avier on qualifying for the national conference and applauds their outstanding representation of the university on a national stage. Their success is a testament to the quality of students and academic programs at Dickinson State.
