Makayla Grijalva, Admissions Counselor
Makayla Grijalva, a New Mexico native, is joining the admissions team as an admissions counselor. She holds a degree in journalism and multimedia communications from the University of New Mexico and has experience working with local newspapers and in Public Relations for the New Mexico Higher Education Department. Makayla is currently pursuing a master's degree in Youth Development at North Dakota State University.
Troy Huber, Controller
Troy Huber has proudly called Dickinson home for over 30 years. A graduate of DSU in 1989, Huber's career path led him to serve as a program manager for Consortium before the opportunity to join the DSU team presented itself. Recognizing the chance to give back to his alma mater, he eagerly accepted the role.
Mark Martinez, Accessibility Services and Tutoring Center Coordinator
Mark Martinez is joining the SOAR Center as the Accessibility Services and Tutoring Center Coordinator. He holds a degree from Fresno Pacific and a master’s in history from Norwich. With 8 years of experience as a behavioral interventionist and mentor, Mark is excited to continue his work in higher education.
