Dickinson State University (DSU) and Dickinson High School (DHS) celebrated the success of the 2026 Math Meet, held March 25 on the DSU campus. The event brought together 65 students from grades 9–12 representing eight high schools across southwest North Dakota, highlighting academic excellence and a shared commitment to mathematics education.
Organized by student leaders in the Dickinson High School Math Club and their advisor, Ashly Marshall, and co-hosted by DSU School of Education faculty member Jeri Braunagel, the competition provided students with a challenging and engaging environment to test their mathematical skills.
Participants competed in multiple rounds, including Lightning Round, Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Math individual tests, and a collaborative Team Round. A total of 17 teams competed in this year’s meet.
