Dickinson State University (DSU) proudly recognizes the outstanding achievements and professional contributions of its employees. Their scholarship, leadership and service strengthen DSU’s mission and expand its impact locally and globally.

Marisa Riesinger – School of Education
Marisa Riesinger received multiple grants supporting student engagement and innovative teacher preparation initiatives. Funding from the SNDU Foundation supported the “Connect and Create” event, which promoted SEA membership, scholarship opportunities and student connection. Additional DSU Heritage Foundation funding will support the purchase of ClassVR headsets and immersive learning resources to provide future educators with hands-on experience using innovative classroom technology. Riesinger also secured funding for SEA campus initiatives, including the annual Mario Kart Tournament and the renovation of a dedicated student space in Klinefelter Hall for School of Education students.

Dr. Michael Cullinane – Theodore Roosevelt Center
Dr. Michael Cullinane, director of the Theodore Roosevelt Center, recently published Theodore Roosevelt and the Tennis Cabinet, which explores the friendships, political relationships and informal advisory circle that shaped Roosevelt’s presidency. The book examines how Roosevelt’s close-knit group of influential friends and policymakers, known as the “Tennis Cabinet,” impacted leadership and decision-making during his time in office. Cullinane is an internationally recognized Theodore Roosevelt scholar and historian whose research continues to advance understanding of Roosevelt’s legacy and American political history. Dr. Ehsan Memary – School of Applied Sciences
Dr. Ehsan Memary completed his Ph.D. at the University of Delaware.
