Dickinson State University’s Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program (TRHLP) will host the 11th annual Boo Hawks event on Sunday, Oct. 29, in Wienbergen Gym from 2-5 p.m. Bring the whole family and don’t forget to wear your costumes for the family costume contest!

“Boo Hawks is a really fun family event with a lot of games and new activities this year,” stated Natalie Lile, TRHLP student assistant. “We get a lot of involvement from campus and are so excited for this year and to share this fun event with the community!”

Boo Hawks is intended for families with children aged 0-12, but all are welcome to attend, and admission to the event is free. This year’s event will feature indoor trick-or-treating, games, and the always popular coloring contest! The coloring contest will feature three age groups (0-4, 5-7 & 8-12). Templates for the coloring contest can be printed from dickinsonstate.edu/boohawks and should be turned in upon your arrival. Prizes will be awarded for first place in each age category and winners will be contacted the following week.

In addition to the action-packed day, there will be two brand new ‘selfie’ Halloween-themed stations for you and your family to take pictures, along with face painting! There will also be a temporary Boo Hawks tattoo station to ramp up the Halloween fun!
