The Dickinson State University Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program's (TRHLP) is proud to announce the success of the recent food drive, resulting in a significant donation of over 600 pounds of food to the Amen Food Pantry.

TRHLP students loading collected food during their drive.The food drive, organized by the students of the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program, took place over a week period, during which students mobilized their efforts to collect non-perishable food items from both on and off-campus sources. Their efforts resulted in an impressive collection of essential food items, ranging from canned goods to dry goods, all aimed at supporting families and individuals in need within the Dickinson community.

"The success of our food drive truly demonstrates the power of community and collective action," remarked Marivern Easton, Director of the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program. "We are proud of our students' commitment to serving others and their determination to make a difference."

The donated food items were gathered and delivered to the Amen Food Pantry, a local organization dedicated to providing assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. The substantial contribution from the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program will significantly bolster the pantry's efforts to address hunger within the community and ensure that essential resources are available to those in need.
