Hanebutt is an ag business and marketing major from New Salem, North Dakota. The Collegiate Farm Bureau Club nominated Hanebutt. He is active in the organization and serves as the president. “Paul is motivated, energetic, and a convincing individual. He engages in not only local activities, but also the regional and state farm bureau. Paul is an asset in motivating his peers while his maturity allows him to connect with a wide range of people,” Toby Stroh, Assistant Professor of Agriculture, and advisor of Collegiate Farm Bureau Club.

Edwards is an exercise science major from Rapid City, South Dakota. She is active in the DSU Women’s Basketball team, Resident Assistant (RA), Student Senate, and CRU. The Office of Campus Life and the RA staff nominated Edwards. Payson Dirk, Housing Operations Coordinator and RA supervisor, stated, “Whitney is an outstanding individual that exemplifies everything a Blue Hawk stands for. She is there for other students any time they need her and always helps with enthusiasm. Whether on the court or in the residence halls, Whitney has a smile on her face!”

Hanebutt and Edwards are explementary students truly showing others what it means to be a Blue Hawk. DSU congratulates all students nominated to the 2024 Homecoming Court.
